The unique aspect of our practice is that every patient's condition is examined through the lenses of Eastern and Western medicine.

We are as comfortable treating acute sinus infections or talking about high cholesterol or diabetes, as we are discussing whether the patient qualifies for Medical Marijuana treatment of chronic low back pain!

Any one of the following conditions, if resistant and/or non-responsive to conventional medical therapy, qualifies a patient for participation in the NJ Medical Marijuana Program:

• Seizure disorder, including epilepsy;

• Chronic intractable pain of skeletal muscular spasticity;

• Glaucoma;

• Severe or chronic pain,

• Severe nausea or vomiting, cachexia, or wasting syndrome results from the condition or treatment of human immunodeficiency virus, acquired immune deficiency syndrome, or cancer;

• Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,

• Multiple sclerosis,

• Terminal cancer,

• Muscular dystrophy

• Inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease;

• Terminal illness, if the physician has determined a prognosis of less than 12 months of life; or

• PTSD
• Opioid Use Disorder

The New Jersey Medical Marijuana statutes have just, in 2018, added 5 new qualifying conditions:

• Anxiety

• Migraine

• Chronic Pain related to Musculoskeletal Disorders

• Chronic Pain of visceral origin

• Tourette’s Syndrome

Acupuncture is used for a broad range of health issues
including chronic and degenerative diseases, as well as for acute conditions and pain.

Acupuncture can benefit the immune system by strengthening it, if it is weak (as in frequent infections), or by moderating it, if it is overactive (as in autoimmune conditions)

The above includes some of the most common functional complaints treated with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. It is not a complete list. If your condition does not appear on this list, it does not mean that it can not be treated by acupuncture.

As your Primary Care Physician (PCP) we will have your total Electronic Medical Record in one location, which is very important for continuity of care. We are a walk-in facility for all of your non-life threatening medical issues. We accept most Insurances, and self-pay options are also available.
